Veteran's Competition

The Sunshine Coast Hockey Association Vets competition is open to all players aged 35 years and over.  The Men's competition is played on a Monday night, and the Women's on a Thursday night (see Vet Women's page).

Players of all standards are welcome.  The Sunshne Coast competition features many current and former State and Australian players in its ranks, and with State and National Championships held each year the Veterans competition continues to grow in strength.

Registration is formalised via a number of formates with each requiring fees to Hockey Queensland to cover insurance requirements.

Men's Vets

The Men's Vets competition is played every Monday night with six teams competing in a season format.  Three games are played - 6.30 p.m.,  7.40 p.m. and 9.00 p.m.  Times are rotated each week so that all teams enjoy the early slot on a regular basis.  Players are welcome for all teams.  The season commences at the same time as the scheduled association session (from 15th March).

All games are played on the water based turf field under lights at the Sunshine Coast Centre, Ballinger Road, Buderim.
