SCHA are pleased to be able to advise you of two different coaching opportunities available in January for our juniors in readiness for the 2019 season.
We can also reveal that the Association has arranged and agreed to pay for Mark Knowles and Jodie Kenny to conduct a coach’s session on the 20th of January 2019 while they are here with the below coaching clinic. The session will be from 11:00 to 12:00 and is open to all coaches and will cover aspects for both junior and senior coaching. No registration is required.
Two Olympians, Mark Knowles and our very own Jodie Kenny will be providing one of the popular 1&9 Coaching clinics on the 20th of January 2019. This will provide the opportunity to be coached by 4x Olympian, 2018 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist and Flag Bearer, 2014 World Player of the Year and retired Kookaburras captain Mark Knowles. Along with Mark, Hockeyroo and Queensland superstar Jodie Kenny will be at all of the sessions.
Ages: 8 years to 13 years and 14 years to 18 years Session Times: 8:30 to 10:30 (8 years to 13 years) 1:00 to 3:00 (14 years to 18 years)

As part of the day the Association will have the facilities open with food and drink options available throughout the day for parents and kids.
Sessions – Participants will develop skills across four domains: technical (back-to-basics and games), tactical (8 zones program), physical (hockey-fit program) and mental (Changefully program) using proprietary tools.
Ages – Two week-long camps, one for ages 8 yrs to 12 yrs and one for ages 13 yrs to 18 yrs.
