Primary Schools Hockey Regional Trials - Results

Caloundra had 4 boys Caleb & Riley Enright, Ewan Schaschke and Tate Farrell and 3 girls Karley Clement, Haylee Williamson and Thea Schaschke taking part. Of these 7, we ended up with 4 selected to represent Sunshine Coast in Townsville at the state primary school championships, namely, Caleb Enright and Ewan Schaschke in the boys team and Karley Clement and Haylee Williamson in the girls team.  In addition, Tate Farrell was selected as a shadow for the boys team.

Umpire Awareness Week!

The SCHA Umpire Coordinators are holding an umpire awareness week - attendance will be compulsory for ALL of your clubs' male and female senior players, so this means everyone who plays senior hockey has to go to one of these evenings (even Juniors who play up)   There will be 3 available evenings (during training nights for suitability to players) for your members to choose from.

Wednesday    2 May,  Thursday    3 May,  Tuesday     8 May

Each session will be from 6.30 - 8.30pm - this rules awareness training is:  "An introduction to the Basic Rules of Hockey"   and is to be undertaken by all senior players and will carry a short miminum (low skill) mandatory assessment on conclusion of the evening.
